My Role (in Depth)
The Illawarra project involved a significant re-brand and renovation a few years ago, with a focus on creating new branding and capturing the venue and menu through photography. The project resulted in an abundance of engaging and visually stunning content that truly showcased the transformation and brought new life to The Illawarra.
I covered everything for this project.
Logo design, food and venue photography, clothing, in house branding and web design, menus and function packs
Creating A Logo
We went through multiple iterations to nail this design. We tried to capture the rich history of the hotel and combine it with the new contemporary overhaul to end up with something fashionable and true to its roots.
Before signing off we created mockups to be situated on packaging, clothing, food and glasses to get more of a realistic idea of how this new logo would work in the real world.
A sketch of the hotel was made to use in various marketing collateraland apparel.
I continued to work with The Illawarra in their events space. I worked on the graphics for New Years Eve events, their nightly specials and their party events. Creating poster designs, way finding signage, banners, video reels and in house advertising.
